Corporate education for every poor student: Bhatti 

The State government issued three separate GOs on Wednesday (March 12, 2025) extending the suspension of three IPS officers, P. Sitharama Anjaneyulu, Kanthi Rana Tata and Vishal Gunni.

The government extended their suspension for a period of 180 days i.e, up to September 9, 2025 under Rule 3 (8) (d) of AIS (D&A) Rules, 1969.

The government in the GOs, stated that the IPS officers failed to properly supervise the investigation and did not ensure that the complaint was thoroughly examined and basic investigation was carried out, before issuing instructions to proceed with arrests, in Cr.No.90/2024 of Ibrahimpatnam Police Station, Vijayawada City against an actress from Mumbai, Kumari Kadambari Narendra Kumar Jethwani.

In another GO, the government said that V. Harshavardhan Raju, Superintendent of Police, Tirupati, is placed in full additional charge of the post of Chief Vigilance & Security Officer, Tirumala Tirupati Devastanams, till further orders.
