The Cyberabad traffic police on Saturday (January 18) issued a advisory in view of Chitharamma Devi Jathara Swarnothsavalu, which began at Gajularamaram in Jeedimetla. The festival will end on January 20.

Traffic coming from Yellammabanda towards Shapur Nagar Main Road will be diverted through Gajularamaram via Balaji Layout, HAL Kaman Road and Amnesty Nagar to Shapur Nagar. Similarly, vehicles coming from Shapur Nagar (Gajularamaram T-junction) towards Yellammabanda will be redirected via Chandragirinagar Bus Stop, Dwarakanagar, Malla Reddy Nagar and Mahadevapuram.

Heavy vehicles will not be allowed on the Mahadevapuram–Gajularamaram road, Devendernagar–Gajularamaram road and Gajularamaram T-junction–Mahadevapuram road to ensure smoother traffic flow.

The police advised commuters to plan their journeys accordingly. Officials will also share live traffic updates on their official handles on social media platforms ‘X’, WhatsApp, Facebook and Instagram.
